I am currently a student of the Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Evolutionary Biology. This program takes me through 4 semesters of research-oriented coursework and projects, with the possibility of spending each semester in a different place/country. After 3 eventful semesters in Groningen, Montpellier and Porto, I am at the last leg of my journey at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behaviour, Germany, studying sleep in a highly social bird.

My research interests, centered around ecology and evolution, revolve around macroevolutionary patterns in traits, animal behaviour, sexual selection and paleobiology.

Besides science, I enjoy climbing, surfing, juggling, cooking, graphic design, photography and movies.
